# Māconis

> Māconis is Zvaigzne ABC's digital learning platform for Latvian schools — interactive e-books, learning materials, and tests for students, teachers, and parents across all education levels, from pirmsskola (preschool) through vidusskola/augstskola (secondary/higher education).

Content is in Latvian. Access to full materials generally requires a school licence or individual purchase; some demo materials and articles are publicly readable.

**Text and data mining (TDM) rights reserved.** Under Article 4(3) of EU Directive 2019/790, as implemented via Latvia's Autortiesību likums (Art. 19(1)), Zvaigzne ABC expressly and unambiguously reserves all rights to text and data mining of all content on this site — including use for training or developing AI, ML, or other generative models. This reservation does not affect search-engine indexing/discovery (see [robots.txt](https://maconis.zvaigzne.lv/robots.txt)) or the statutory exception for research organizations and cultural heritage institutions.
